Amazon’s cheap Kindle is now available with an adjustable front light
The Kindle family of Amazon is divided into three main sections-the inexpensive Kindle, the Paperwhite and the luxurious Oasis. The entry-level model £ 69.99 now has a front light, making even more appealing the cheapest Kindle.
The light on the Kindle casts illumination across the front of the showcase, which means you can read in the dark without having to use a flashlight to light the space. It’s a wonderful characteristic, ideal for camping, sharing hotels-wherever you want to read without disturbing others.
It’s completely distinct from tablets that use a backlight, as the screen here is E Ink, which means you get weeks of reading from a Kindle, rather than hours.
